NON-LAWYER DISCLOSURE

Notice of Limitation of Services Provided and Disclosure from Nonlawyers

Florida Legal Ease, LLC (referred to as “our business”), is a Florida Limited Liability Corporation providing self-help, nonlawyer document preparation services. We are not a law firm, and we do not offer legal advice, representation, or advocacy. No attorney-client relationship is created or inferred.

Our mission is to assist Pro Se customers by simplifying the clerical process, enabling them to handle their legal matters independently. However, our services are not a substitute for an attorney’s expertise. If you require legal advice or representation, consult a licensed attorney.

By using our website and services, you acknowledge that you are representing yourself as a Pro Se litigant in any legal matter you pursue. Our services are limited to typing, clerical, and procedural assistance based on the specific directions and information provided by the customer. We do not offer any guarantees or warranties other than the delivery of documents or forms selected by the customer.

We assume no liability for damages caused by using our services, and they are offered as-is without warranty, expressed or implied. Customers are responsible for inspecting their documents for content, errors, or omissions. We will correct clerical errors brought to our attention.

Our staff members are not attorneys, paralegals, law clerks, or legal assistants, and they do not hold themselves out as qualified to practice law in the State of Florida. We comply with the Florida Bar’s rules and provide publicly available legal information and procedural assistance, such as filing guidance. Our staff will not review completed forms or documents for legal sufficiency, errors, or omissions, nor will they provide opinions on specific outcomes or time frames.

If you need legal advice or representation, leave this website immediately and contact a licensed attorney. Continued use of this website implies that you are not seeking or expecting legal advice from our business.

Before using our services, we will ask you to sign our NOTICE OF LIMITATION OF SERVICES AND DISCLOSURE FROM NONLAWYER form acknowledging your understanding of this disclosure.

The Florida Bar has published a consumer information pamphlet titled:  Hiring the Right Person to Help me with My Legal Problems.  This pamphlet discusses problems you can encounter by using a nonlawer instead of a licensed attorney, and it explains why document preparers working with the general public are not permitted to use the title of “Paralegal”, unless they are supervised by a licensed Florida attorney who is responsible for their work.
